4. Convert Videos in VLC player

*. Open VLC player.
*. Now click Convert/save in Media Option in left side of the screen or just press Ctrl+R in VLC player.

13. Create Undeletable And Unrenamable Folder In Windows.

*.First of all, go to Start and then Click on Run. Now typecmd& hit enter (Command Prompt will get opened).
Note:- Always remember that you cannot create any undeletable & unrenamable folder in your root directory of storage. So select the drive by typing D:, E:, F: and then hit enter.

*. Type md lpt1\ and hit enter (md – make directory). Now open the directory and you will see the folder created by name con there. You can store your precious file inside that folder.

14. Now let’s try to delete that folder or rename that folder.

*. First of all open the Command Prompt.
*. .There type D: ( if you have created the folder in D: drive) & hit enter.
*. You have to delete the files inside the “con” folder in order to delete the folder.
*. Now their type rd lpt1\(rd – remove directory)
*. .Now again open the directory and the folder will get deleted from there.

17. Create a Shutdown Shortcut that Looks like a Folder

This one is really simple to do—just create a shortcut to shutdown.exe on the desktop, and then change the icon to a regular folder, so when they double-click the folder to see what it might contain, they get a nice system shutdown notice instead. You can change the shutdown time to really far in the future so they won’t lose any work, but mostly so they get the full benefit of your nerd skills.

If they are using XP, the effect is nice and dramatic, and you can even have some fun with the shutdown time… on Windows 7 you won’t be able to show off your geek skills quite as well, but they’ll still see something that will confuse them.
Note:-on Windows 7 or Vista you’d also need to disable UAC or else they’ll see a prompt.

It's not hard to turn an extra USB stick lying around that's collecting dust into extra memory for your computer, allowing it to run speedier and manage more applications better.
STEPS
1. Rename your thumb drive as "RAM DRIVE" or something similar, so you can see which drive is being used as RAM.
2. Delete all the stuff on the flash drive. Check for hidden files.
3. Right click on My Computer, and go to Properties. Once there, click on Advanced and go to the system output's Settings.
4. Click on Advanced, and then Edit.
5. Click on your thumb drive above, and select "user-defined size." Here you can see the size of your flash drive.
6. Calculate the size of the flash drive, andsubtract 5 Mb.
7. Type this number in the first box. In the second box, type in the same number.
8. Click Set and confirm all your settings, applying them wherever you can.
9. Restart your computer and have FUN.

Note:-Windows 7 users should go into their System Properties, under the Performance tab for these options. After you're done, your computer will recognize your flash drive as extra virtual memory. Do not pull out your thumb drive after these settings are implemented. It could crash your computer.
