How To Add Money In Paytm
Hello and welcome friends in today's post I am going to show you that how to add money to PayTM wallet using Plastic Money ( Commonly called credit cards, debit cards, smart cards, etc.). So without taking your much time lets start our tutorial, follow below procedure.
Here is the precedure:-
1. Create Paytm wallet account by email/mobile number. I’m sure you have done this. You can also download latest version of Paytm Android app from Here Which is more secure than web version.
2. Now in main screen Go to `Add Money` section. You can use both Paytm Apps or Website. Same procedure to add money. Design may looks different.
3. Eneter amount and promo Code (if any ) and click on Add Money
4. Then comes to real section, where you fear about safety. You have multiple payment option here:-
a. Saved Card.- Same as Debit Card/Credit card option below. You can save while using a new card. By this way, you don’t have to fill all details every time. You need to enter CVV and OTP/Password (Read Below)
b. Debit Card.- You can use you debit card( commonly called ATM Card). There are Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and RuPay card. You can use any one of them. Most probably your card is one of this.
*. Enter your Card number (16 - digit, printed on card front).
*. Enter your card expirty date ( printed front page).
*. Enter your CVV number (i.e. Card Verification Value) ( 3-digit, printed on your card back).
*. Then click on ‘Pay’. It will redirect to another website page, based on your card issuing bank.
*. There you need to enter you card Password or OTP. Some bank have option to use OTP send to your registered mobile on bank. Other bank don’t have OTP option. It may have both Option. Where OTP is not available, Password is needed. Which password is this ? You will be asked to create password, if not created yet( First time ). It will ask card details, card ATM PIN (4-digit), OTP to create your password. Remember this is not Paytm Password. This password is valid on all trasaction you make with this card only, be it Paytm or any other site like, flipkart, mobikwik, whatever you use. You can also re-create password by same way, if you created earlier and forgotten.
c.Credit Card.- Same as debit card.
d.Net Banking.- You can use your net banking details, if you have net banking. This step is similar to your netbanking login. Use your netbanking password/username. OTP if required. You know it if you use net banking.
e.ATM.- This is using your same ATM/debit card, but using ATM PIN. No password/OTP. This option is available for few banks only.
And You’re done! General Safety Measure to take while paying online on any site:-
*. Check the addresses bar showing https://(not http://) in green colour on your browser, when you entereing card details/password.
*. Use strong combination of passwords. And use password regularly.
*. Avoid using card on public cafe computers.
*. Never reveal your card details, password, PIN, OTP to anyone. Even if its bank official. Bank never ask for these details. Some one may be calling you/you may get some email, pretending to be bank official and ask for details . Don’t give any details.
*. Block your card immediately if lost.Stay safe paying online.
